Leadership Team

931wDawn Provost, Executive Director – Dawn is a native Vermonter.  Dawn is currently enrolled at Devry University working towards a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration. In January of 2004 Dawn joined OM Fisher Home, Inc (dba Westview Meadows & The Gary Home) as the Business Office Manager where she was involved in setting up the operations for Westview Meadows. This involved hiring, setting up policy and procedures, accounting, marketing and all other assignments as assigned. In November 2012 Dawn was named Executive Director of OM Fisher Home, Inc. It was no surprise to those that know Dawn with her strong work ethic, knowledge of both homes, love and care for the senior population and effervescent personality she was the obvious choice. Dawn is a member and the Past-President of the Montpelier Rotary Club.

Kathy Thurston, Business Office Manager – Kathy is a graduate of Spaulding High School and attended Champlain College for Early Childhood Education. She is grateful to have the employment experience from Retail Management, Banking, Insurance and Legal experience. Throughout her career, Kathy has been involved in various organizations as follows: Vermont Claims Association, Vermont Association of Insurance Women, March of Dimes, United Way Organization, a member of the Board of Directors for The Berlin Mall. Kathy and her husband, Jeff, live in Northfield, Vermont. They enjoy spending time with their family, camping, fishing, vacationing in Maine and outdoor activities.

JoyJoy Partridge, RN – was born and grew up in Barre, VT and has lived in Montpelier for the last 12 years with her family and pets. Her first career was as a veterinary technician for many years. She returned to college for nursing as a second career. Joy has worked in many aspects of nursing including hospitals, schools, offices, hospice and nursing homes, before coming to Westview Meadows as the Residential Care Director.

 

 

ChuckChuck Meeks, Maintenance Supervisor – Charles (Chuck) Meeks was born in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Shortly after his birth, he and his family moved to Essex Junction, Vermont where he was raised. As a young man, chuck spent several years in Alaska, moving back to Vermont when he was twenty six years old. Since his return to Vermont he has lived in Williamstown, Stowe and currently resides in Montpelier with his wife, Diane. They have three children and a new grandson. Chuck has worked in the construction trades throughout Central Vermont and brings years of experience to his position of Maintenance Supervisor to O.M. Fisher Home, Inc. Chuck is responsible for all maintenance for both The Gary Home and Westview Meadows. He is 2013 Maintenance Supervisor of the Year by Vermont Health Care Association. In addition to his expertise, you can always count on Chuck’s friendly demeanor and ready smile.

GeorgeGeorge Mackey, Executive Chef – George was born in Martelle, Iowa one of 10 children.  He began his love of cooking while working in a restaurant when only 11 years old.  He moved out to Vermont in 1987 to attend the New England Culinary Institute, gradating in 1989 with top honors.  He stayed on as an instructor for the next 13 years before working at Upper Valley Produce as a produce manager from 2002 till 2011.  The kitchen called once again and George became the Food Service Director for the Barre Supervisory Union where he was responsible for feeding 2000 students daily.  Currently George lives in Duxbury with his wife Nancy and has two grown children, Lydia and David.  When he’s not researching new ideas for your dining pleasure he enjoys spending summers at his camp at Lake Elmore, reading books on military history and building scale models.

nicoleNicole DuPont, Activities Coordinator– Nicole was raised in Graniteville Vermont and is a graduate of Williamstown High School and The Community College of Vermont; where she obtained her Associate degree in 2008. She has worked as an Activities Coordinator for six years with her previous employer and has work experience ranging from Law to Human Services. She is excited to bring her knowledge and experience to Westview Meadows and to begin a new journey. Nicole has two young daughters who joyfully occupy much of her free time. She enjoys spending time with family, photography, art, outdoor activities, life stories and writing.
